Your catalog and your customers’ data, handled with care
Aria is built to support GDPR-compliant deployments. We process data only to run the service for your store, keep each retailer’s data separate and put the commitments in writing, in a Data Processing Agreement.
What we commit to
GDPR by design
You are the data controller and we act as your processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. What is processed, who can access it and how long it’s kept are agreed during implementation.
Each retailer’s data kept separate
Your catalog, conversations and analytics are never mixed with another store’s.
Only the data the service needs
Conversation content, the contact details shoppers choose to share, order and browsing context, and the technical identifiers needed to run Aria. Special-category data isn’t requested.
Deletion on request and at the end
Personal data can be deleted or anonymized under documented retention policies. When the service ends, we delete or return your data.
Security measures
Encryption in transit and, where practical, at rest; access limited to the people who need it; security-vetted infrastructure; and logging and monitoring proportionate to the service.
Sub-processors you can see
We rely on hosting, AI-model, CRM and analytics providers, each bound by data protection terms. The current list is available on request, and we give notice before adding or replacing one.
Answers grounded in your catalog
Before replying, Aria checks product details, prices and links against your catalog. Where the catalog has no answer, it says so rather than guessing.
Breach notification
If a personal data breach affects your data, we tell you without undue delay, with what you need for your own obligations.
