Specs, compatibility and trade-offs, explained in plain language

Electronics shoppers compare spec sheets they don’t fully understand and worry about whether a product will work with what they own. Aria translates specs into what matters for their use, checks compatibility against your catalog, and finds alternatives when the budget is tight.

I saw a monitor on your website that I really like, but I'm not sure if it'll work with my MacBook Air. Could you check?

The ViewPro 27 USB-C is fully compatible with your MacBook Air M2. You can connect it with a single USB-C cable, run it at its full 2560×1440 resolution and charge your MacBook at the same time.

Where shoppers get stuck

The questions that stall an electronics purchase

Spec sheets list everything and explain nothing. Shoppers who can’t tell whether a product fits their setup either open ten tabs to compare, or buy something that doesn’t work and return it.

What an unanswered question costs you
  • They leave to compare elsewhere
…and often buy from whoever answered first.
  • They guess, and send it back
A wrong shade, size or model is a return you pay for.
  • They ask support
…and wait for an answer to a question that was really a sale.

How Aria handles it

From a vague question to a confident choice

  1. 01

Starts from the use, not the spec

Asks what the product is for, what the shopper already owns and how much they want to spend.

I don't want to spend a fortune on it. I mostly need it for university, but I'd also like to play League of Legends sometimes when I have a break.

That helps narrow it down. League of Legends doesn't require a full gaming laptop, so you can avoid paying extra for something heavy and expensive. I'd look for a lightweight laptop with 16 GB of RAM and strong integrated graphics. These are the best matches:

  2. 02

    Checks what matters

Verifies compatibility and the specs that matter for that use against your catalog data.

Do I need to buy an adapter?

No. The ViewPro 27 USB-C handles video and charging over USB-C, and the required cable is included in the box.

  3. 03

    Compares and recommends

Explains the trade-offs between the realistic options and suggests the best fit, or a cheaper one that keeps what matters.

    Can you compare these two?

For regular outdoor running, I'd recommend the OpenFit Air.

Three conversations from a fictional electronics store: narrowing down earbuds, choosing a student laptop, and checking a monitor works before finding a cheaper one.

Aria
Hi! I'm looking for wireless earbuds for running.
For running, I'd look for a secure fit, sweat resistance and good awareness outdoors. Here are a few options to get us started. What matters most to you: hearing traffic, the most secure fit, better sound, or keeping the price down?

I'll mostly run outdoors, so I want to hear traffic. I'd also like to stay under $175.
Got it. For outdoor running I'd prioritise open-ear listening or a strong transparency mode. I'd remove the RunPods Mini because they block more outside sound than I'd recommend. These two are a better fit:

The second one looks a little bulky.
That's fair. I'll keep the secure fit, sweat resistance and outdoor awareness, but look for something more compact:
AeroBuds Compact

AeroBuds Compact$149

Can you compare these two?
Of course. OpenFit Air is lighter and more comfortable for longer, relaxed runs. Its open-ear design lets you hear traffic naturally, no transparency mode needed. AeroBuds Compact fits more securely with stronger sound, better for intervals and intense workouts, though it feels more enclosed. For regular outdoor running, I'd recommend the OpenFit Air.
